Kingsley United Methodist Church continues to teach children how to develop a personal lifelong relationship with God.  We welcome all children into our classes and our hearts while instilling the values of Respect, Responsibility and Response.  The three R's.  Each week children learn how to "Grow Closer to God" through Bible stories, games, crafts, songs, and real life application of scripture.  Children learn by doing and relating to real life experiences.  God wants every child to be nurtured, loved and instructed on how to become a "Kid for Christ." 

 

A nursery is staffed and available during both 9:00am and 11:00am worship services.  The staff has pagers available for parents, so you are only a beep away if you are needed.  You may bring your little ones to the nursery anytime.  The nursery is located in the fellowship hall next to the pastor's office. 

 

Preschool is offered at 9:00am.  Children meet in the sanctuary for Children's time and are dismissed to the preschool room in the fellowship hall next to the food pantry.  

 

Children are invited to attend worship services just for them.  Songs, Bible stories, interactive real life scenarios and other activities are designed for their age group.  Children meet upstairs for a children's message and then are dismissed to their classroom downstairs.

 

At Camp Jesus worship revolves around Biblical principles that relate directly to issues that concern middle school kids today.  Each monthly theme includes a music dvd with the latest Christian videos.  Middle schoolers meet in the sanctuary and then are dismissed to their own room downstairs.

 

Not your typical VBS.  This outreach event brings children of all ages into God's presence.  The goal is that each child knows that Jesus loves them.  Songs, snacks, games and a Bible story reinforce the daily message.  This FREE event is open to children aged Kdg. - 5th grade.  VBS is always the last full week in June.

 

Each year children from preschool to 5th grade perform a Christmas musical that speaks to the heart of the Christmas season.  These kids really know how to spread the Good News!
